Chapter 15
"Change in Plans"
Mid make-out Stephanie and Chris were interrupted by the manager coming in. “Ok guys listen up!” he yelled. Everyone got quiet and he continued, “We have a change in plans. All the concerts have been cancelled.” “What, why?” they were all saying and looking at each other confused. “All right now calm down, I’m not finished!” the manager continued, “There will be a whole line of concerts that you will be attending in California, close to the beach. I think these concerts will be more successful than your tour.” “Cool.” they all said. “You will stay in a hotel that is on the beach. The whole thing will last a couple of months, like the tour would have. Ok now be getting your things ready because we are going to the airport.” he said an turned and walked away.
“Oh Chris the beach! I can’t wait! The ocean, the sand, the sun...” Stephanie said daydreaming. “You in your bikini!” Chris said excitedly. “Ha! Ha! You’re crazy!” Stephanie laughed. “I know. That is why you love me!” Chris smiled. “Ha, yep!” Stephanie said as they got up to gather their things. As they got up Chris saw Savannah, Greg and Frankie talking. Chris leaned over and whispered in Steph’s ear, “Uh oh! Houston, we have a problem!” “Yeah, wonder what is going on over there?” Stephanie said to Chris. “Let’s go find out!” Chris said and started over there. Stephanie stopped him, “Chris, you can’t do that. That is called being nosey!” she laughed. “Ok. Well darn. I guess since we have our stuff together, and we can’t be nosey, we should do something else.” Chris said in a sexy voice as he sat down and motioned for Steph to sit on his knee. She sat down and put her arms around his neck as he put his around her waist. “What did you have in mind?” Stephanie asked looking in his eyes, getting closer to his face. “Well I was thinking we could...” Chris said as Stephanie leaned closer. Chris started tickling her and laughing hysterically! “Oh my gosh! Stop it Chris! I’m not ticklish!” Stephanie yelled as she was laughing. “Then why are you laughing?” Chris asked still laughing and tickling. “Ok...ok. I lied, I am ticklish, but please...STOP!!!” she said giggling. “Ok. I’ll stop,” Chris said as he stopped, “But you have to kiss me or I’ll tickle you some more.” “Ok...that isn’t a problem!” she said and leaned in and they picked up where they left off.
The bus pulled into the airport parking lot. Everyone got out and went to board the plane. After about an hour, everyone was on the plane. They were in first class. There were three seats in a row and three seats across from each row, facing one another. Chris, Stephanie and Savannah were in the seats facing Greg, Frankie and Ashley. Matt, Kayla and Britney were in the seats facing Jesse, Kim and Kristy. In the middle of those twelve seats were four seats, two across from two. Wendy and Nikki sat across from Lindsey and Amy. All the kids took up a whole line of seats. Stephanie whispered over to Wendy, “Hey, sorry you have to sit with the snobs.” “Yeah, it’s ok. I’ll ignore them and talk to you guys. At least Kim gets to sit by Jesse.” she said. “Yeah. Maybe they will get to know each other a little better!” Stephanie said. “I doubt it!” Nikki chimed in, “Jesse is mine!” “Ugh!” Stephanie and Wendy said together. “Do you have to have everyone you hoe?” Chris asked. “Ugh! Shut up Christopher Ryan Trousdale!” Nikki shouted. “Only my girlfriend can call me Christopher, and that is something you aren’t! So don’t say it again!” he shouted and turned to ignore her. “Oh well! And you have no room calling me a hoe when your slut of a girlfriend hopped from Jesse to you in two days!” Nikki yelled. Chris turned around with a very mad look. “She is not a slut. So shut the crap up and leave us alone!!” Chris yelled. Stephanie was starting to tear up when she thought to herself, ’Was that a slutty thing to do? No, I mean...ugh...I hate that girl.’ Chris saw the tears falling from her eyes, “Oh baby, no, don’t cry." he said as he wiped a tear from her face, "You are not a slut, don’t let her stupid ness get to you.” Chris said hugging her. “I know. I’m not what she said, but she didn’t have to go and bring up Jesse. Ugh!” Stephanie said. “I know.” Chris said and lifted her chin up with his finger, “Don’t worry about her.” he smiled and kissed her softly.
They flew for another hour and then finally arrived at the airport. As they headed to the luggage pick up Stephanie thought she saw Josh. “Chris. Chris!” she said getting closer to him, “I think I saw Josh!” “Where?” Chris asked. She pointed and then the guy turned around and it wasn’t him. “Oh my bad. Guess I’m just being a worry worm!” Stephanie laughed. “Ha Ha! Well don’t worry baby because as long as I’m around ain’t nothing or no one gonna hurt you!” Chris said and then kissed her. Everyone got their bags and went and sat down while Claudia told them what to do. “Ok guys...and girls, listen up! We will stay in one hotel throughout the trip. We have rented a bus to do the traveling around California.” she stated. “Ok!” everyone said. “Ok now follow me and we’ll get on the bus and head to the hotel.” Claudia said. Everyone picked up their things and followed her.
They got to the bus and went in. Everyone sat down and the bus headed to the hotel. When they got there everyone got out. Chris and Stephanie went to get a couple luggage carriers. “Oh I love these things!” Stephanie said as she stepped onto the luggage carrier. “Ha Ha! Me too! Wanna race?” Chris said as he stepped on one. “Yeah!” she said as Chris started rolling on his cart toward the bus, “Hey!! Cheater!!!” she said as she took off rolling on hers. She and Chris got to the bus at the same time and were both laughing hysterically! “Ok you kids, settle down!” Jesse laughed. Everyone started laughing. They all loaded the luggage on the carts and headed up to the fifth floor. They went to the rooms; there were two joining rooms. Each had two bedrooms, and each bed room had two queen sized beds. There was also a fold out bed in the couches. Each room had a balcony over looking the beach.
“This room is so cool!!” Stephanie said as she sat her things in one of the bedrooms. “So is this one!” Britney said as she came through the door that led from room to room. “Ok who goes where?” Chris asked. “I don’t know?” Matt said. They talked it out for a few minutes and finally decided it. Chris, Matt, Stephanie, Ashley, Savannah, Kayla, Britney and Frankie were in room 203 and Greg, Jesse, Wendy, Kristy, Kim, Nikki, Lindsey and Amy in 204. Everyone unpacked their things in their rooms. Chris, Stephanie and Matt unpacked in one bedroom while Ashley, Savannah, Kayla and Britney unpacked in the other. Matt and Steph would share a bed and Chris would sleep by himself. Frankie is gonna sleep on the couch bed. As for the other room, The three snobs in a room, Sweet Candy in the other, and Greg and Jesse on the couch bed. Claudia and the manager have a room across the hall.
“What are we going to do now?” Chris asked as they all sat around in his room. “Let’s go out for dinner.” Jesse said. “I don’t really feel like going out again. I wanna stay in.” Stephanie said, “But who ever wants to go out can, don’t not go out because I don’t want to.” Stephanie laughed. “Ok.” a few said. Not everyone was going out, Chris, Stephanie, Britney and Savannah were staying in the hotel and ordering pizza while the others went out for dinner. Savannah and Britney were playing a game and Chris and Stephanie were on the balcony watching the last little bit of sun sink into the ocean, or that is what it looked like it was doing.
Chris was sitting in a chair and Steph was on his lap. “Oh Chris this is one reason I love the beach so much! Isn’t the sunset the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?” Stephanie said to Chris as she leaned her head back on his shoulder and he put his arms around her. “Nope.” Chris said as he kissed her neck. “What? You don’t think so, you’re blind dude!” Stephanie laughed, “Name one thing that is more beautiful!” “Well, I’m holding her!” Chris smiled. Stephanie looked at him, “You are so sweet!” she said and he kissed her softly.
Savannah and Britney were playing cards when Britney asked, “Umm...is it ok if I like Greg?” “Yeah! I don’t care, he is a great guy. I don’t own him or anything!” she laughed. “Yeah I know, but I just wanted to make sure because I didn’t wanna make a move and then you get mad.” Britney said. “Oh no! You go for it girl!” Savannah replied as they both started laughing. Just then Stephanie and Chris came in. “What are you guys playing?” Stephanie asked as she went in the kitchen to get a bottle of water. “Go fish!” they laughed. “Ok, who’s winning?” she replied. “Me!” Savannah said and Britney stuck her tongue out at her.
After a few minutes they heard a knock on the door. “Coming!” Chris yelled as he got to the door and opened it. It was the pizza. “Oh hey thanks!” Chris said as he took the pizza and handed it to Stephanie. She put it on the table and Britney and Savannah immediately got up and started eating. Chris was getting money out of his pocket and Stephanie said, “Chris, baby, I’ll get it!” she said as she picked up her purse. “No, I got it!” Chris said and handed they guy the money. “Well at least let me get the tip.” she said handing the guy three dollars. “Thanks!” the delivery guy said and left as Chris shut the door. They all started eating. When they were done it was around nine.
“I think I’m going to go to sleep a little early.” Stephanie said heading to her room. “Me and Savannah are gonna watch a movie on HBO.” Britney said. “Ok.” Chris said as he followed Stephanie, “Goodnight!” he told them. Stephanie went and changed into her pajamas while Chris got down to his boxers. He was putting a t-shirt when Stephanie walked in. “Woah you’re hot!” Stephanie laughed. “Ha Ha! Thanks babe! So are you!” Chris said as he pulled his shirt on. “You don’t have to go to sleep now if you don’t wanna.” Stephanie told him. “Yeah, but I wanna cuddle with you!” he said smiling. “Aw! How sweet!” she laughed and she got under the covers. Chris laid down beside her to her left and she snuggled up to him. They were talking for a while then they were quiet. Just then Chris heard everyone come in. He heard the all chatting and then Matt came in the room, “Yeah! Night!” he yelled. “Yo dude, shh!” Chris whispered and he looked down at a sleeping Stephanie and brushed a piece of hair from her face. “Oh man sorry!” Matt whispered. They chatted quietly as Matt changed. “What happened tonight?” Chris whispered. “Nothing really. But Nikki and them were being butts and then Jesse finally goes, ‘shut up will ya’. And they got ticked at us and Nikki goes, ’I’m getting daddy to get us our own room I can’t live with you guys!’ So I guess if he says yes we will have to live without them on these rooms!” Matt said. “What a shame!” Chris said sarcastically and they both laughed quietly. “So are you getting up?” Matt asked Chris. “She is laying on my arm; I don’t wanna wake her up, she looks so peaceful.” Chris said kissing her head. “You really love her don’t you?” Matt said. “Yeah. Yeah I do...with all my heart! I wouldn’t stop for anything.” Chris said. “That is great dude! You be good to my cousin; I love her like a little sister!” Matt said getting into the other bed. “Don’t worry dude, I will!” Chris said snuggling closed to her. “Ok well goodnight. Just make sure you’re up before Claudia comes in, because if she finds you in the bed with her, even though we know you guys didn’t do anything, she will be furious and who knows what she’ll do!” Matt laughed. “Ok! Goodnight! Make sure you wake me up if she comes in before we wake up.” Chris said. “Ok.” Matt said and with that they went to sleep.
